Feltrinelli Spa Valeria Baioni

I am Valeria Baioni and I have been dealing with purchases in the retail sector for several years.
After graduating in Economics at the Catholic University of Milan, I started working at Carrefour Italia supporting sales in the Marketing office dedicated to promotional activities. Then in the same company I began an experience as buyer/category manager.
Within Feltrinelli I continued the buying activity by dealing with books first, and then stationery sector, where I held the role of senior buyer by 7 years.

I like being able to discover and select the products for our stores and then see how the idea develops in the layout in our bookshops and in customer satisfaction.
The passion for my work and the possibility of having different experiences has allowed me to expand my knowledge and negotiation skills, that can be applied transversally to different types of products, as well as the ability to study and interpret the various reference markets in order to propose assortments in line with current trends.
