Plastic is one of the most used materials in the world; its extreme durability makes recycling essential. In India from the most ancient tradition of manufacturing carpets in natural fibers, our innovative collection called Oceania is born of ecological carpets worked with hand looms in 100% recycled PET. This Ecofriendly rug appears to be made with wool yarn both to the eye and to the touch but was made with recycled PET bottles. The plastic bottles collected in the seas are transformed into a fiber called polyester. With these entirely recycled threads we produce rugs that are soft to the touch, resistant to atmospheric agents, wear and tear, suitable for indoor and outdoor spaces. It is an easy-care carpet that can be washed with water. This recycling process saves raw materials, energy, water, oil, CO² emissions and reduces waste in landfills and protecting nature for future generations.
